Dyno Tune

Use Dyno Tune to get the maximum performace from your bike!

Professional motorcycle dyno tuning is a process of using a dynamometer (dyno) to measure and optimize a motorcycle’s performance by adjusting its fuel, ignition, and air systems. A professional technician places the bike on a dyno to simulate real-world conditions and measure its power and torque curves, then fine-tunes the engine’s settings for maximum power, better fuel efficiency, and smoother, more responsive performance..

What happens during a dyno tune

  •  Measurement: A motorcycle is placed on a dyno, which has rollers for the rear wheel to spin on. Sensors are attached to measure horsepower, torque, and the air-fuel ratio.

  • Simulation: The dyno allows technicians to simulate various riding conditions and engine loads to see how the engine performs under stress.

  • Diagnosis: The data collected helps identify issues like a rough idle, poor throttle response, or flat spots in the power delivery that might be hard to diagnose on the street.

  • Optimization: Based on the data, the technician makes adjustments to the engine control unit (ECU), a fuel injection system, or carburetors. These adjustments can include optimizing the air-fuel mixture and spark timing.

  • Verification: After the adjustments are made, the bike is run on the dyno again to verify the improvements in performance.
